I grew up in a very 90’s DIY kind of crafty home. I feel like there were lace and crackle-painted decor everywhere for a while, and my mom led my sister and me through all the scrunchie-making, shrinky-dinking, and bead fusing you can handle. At some point, drawing became my choice for creative expression and I was never without pen and paper. Once I discovered watercolors, sometime around 10th grade, I was pretty sure my future was fated to lean toward the arts. While my 90’s craft days are (mostly) over, that love of making and trying new media runs deep. I feel that every day is an opportunity to create something great, and to learn from both the creative process and any mistakes made along the way.
I paint from my home studio in Georgia, where I live with my fiancé and our four children.
